Langly on Shotkit | The Camera Gear of the World’s Best Photographers

The Camera Gear of the World’s Best Photographers

Hey guys! Mark here from Shotkit. It’s great to be here writing a few words for the Langly Field Notes :-)

I’m a wedding photographer based in Sydney, but I travel all over the world to shoot destination weddings in far flung places… at least, I used to – having 3 kids under 5 has seen me shooting a bit closer to home of late!

On the Shotkit front, we publish several articles each week to help photographers of all standards – everyone from seasoned pros all the way down to beginners picking up a camera for the very first time.

We write about everything from the most popular Fuji lenses, to the latest photo editors, educational resources, bags, lighting, straps… and everything in between.

It’s a friendly environment to learn more about photography and building a successful photography business.

Above all, Shotkit is perhaps best known as the place to have a snoop at the camera gear used by some of the world’s most talented photographers.

In fact, after receiving so many submissions from photographers from all over the world, we’ve been given a unique insight into the most popular gear in use today… and of course, Langly camera bags are an ever-popular choice.

The Langly Alpha Pro and Globetrotter backpacks are by far the most common Langly products seen in use by photographers featured on Shotkit.

Thanks to a weather-proof, rugged build, efficient ease of access, and highly Instagrammable great looks (!), the Alpha has gained an almost cult-following with all kinds of photographers, both professional and amateur.

It’s perhaps this that’s most impressive about the Alpha – the sheer range of genres of photographer that rely on it as their main camera backpack illustrates its versatility. Aesthetically speaking, we’re reminded of a classic vintage hiker’s backpack, although in practice, the Alpha is as perfectly suited for the hills as it is for the streets.
